ALL TERRAIN DIRECTIONAL DRILL DETAILS

When you need to drill solid rock for long distance that calls for our JT4020 All Terrain HDD system, which can steer, drill and backream in just about any type of soil up to 1000 feet. Touch-sensitive, variable-speed, electric-over-hydraulic controls minimize operator effort; thrust/pullback and rotation are controlled by a single lever.
The JT4020 All Terrain HDD is the product of exceptional Ditch Witch engineering, with patented features like an industry – leading, two –pipe rock - drilling system and an integrated electronic system with cruise control. The JT4020 All Terrain HDD is high drilling fluid, an on board pumps enable productive drilling at extended distance, normal flow rate can be operated simultaneously with thrust / pullback and rotation.
Dual thrust drive motors provide exceptional low-speed drilling control as well as the higher speed necessary for rapidly loading drill pipe. Integrated electronic system with tracker control enables the tracker operator to disable power to the drilling units thrust and rotation. Hydraulic, four-point anchor system allows the unit to be firmly secured in all types of ground condition, including rock. Adjusting drill frame design allows setup at normal drilling angles without raising the tracks off the ground.
